is streaming on Netflix if anyone has been wanting to see it.

Such an inspirational film; I highly recommend watching it.

Also, Jason's dad looks like Billy Bob Thorton

Thank you very much for the heads up. I have wanted to watch this for a long time.

Spot on! I hadn't realized it before, always just thought to myself "where have I seen this dude before" haha.

Gotta get me the flick one way or the other. Jason's been a huge influence to me especially in the last 10 years. Perpetual Burn, literally !

My wife and I watched it last night. She'd never heard of him and wasn't interested at first but had tears in her eyes by the end.
Great movie. Tough to watch but inspirational for sure. Amazing.

Cool to see Kotzen in there as well as some others. Disappointed Roth didn't make an appearance.

A must see, I got a little emotional. just the what if's

I watched it last night with my wife and we both liked it a lot. I admit my eyes welled up at parts.... Jason just seems like a good kind person with immense talent who fights his ALS with dignity and still able to get his music out. Amazing person....highly recommended.

Oh and I thought the film was very well done from a production stand point. Kudos to those who worked on it.

I donated towards the making of the film when they were looking for funding, glad they got it finished and out there! He was such a ripping guitarist. That Little Ain't enough album with DLR just shows the intense talent and swing that guy had. Totally pissed all over anything Vai did with DLR and that stuff was already pretty cool.

After watching it I put that album on my Spotify account and been really enjoying it. Not sure why I didn't get into it back in the day... I must have been into something else musically. Yeah it did show he was more than just a classical style shred guy... he could play a wide variety of styles on the guitar. Not sure I agree he "pissed all over anything Vai did with DLR" but he played the songs on that album his way and I thought it was great.

No.

Agree to disagree .. no point in arguing :P ... all I meant is that Vai's stuff with DLR is some of his best but Becker's stuff goes above and beyond. Way more chops, picking, swing, shred. It does it all. Listen to "showtime" or the solo on "Drop in the bucket" shezam ! But again, that's everyone's preference. Vai is a good player but not amazing. A lot of smoke and mirrors there for me with effects and legato. (and orgasm faces lol)

For fun:

A good cover for sure! Especially solo during that funky bass breakdown..
