Any known modification to help this amp? Dual channel loaded with 34's

Swapping electrolytic caps with other brands can smooth things out, believe it or not. Replacing the C8 in my SL-X with a TDK EPCOS smoothed things out a lot, but when I tried a CDE cap of the same value it sounded buzzy and harsh. It's a dual reverb? Are you getting this tone?:

not that mods won’t help but have you tried cranking it?? I thought that particular model really came alive with some volume.

Yup sounds great pushing air with sd1 in front. But this guy plays quieter and it's shrill as all get out.

Not even close...it's not reverb..has channel a and b. B has lots of volume, channel a about half the output

Try an EQ in the loop

I like an EQ in the front of the amp. Try it out. You can shape the preamp that way.
