And at the JB tribute shows, no one ever plays this, or at least what I have seen.
I think there's only a handful of guys in the world who can play this kind of stuff and play it well. I know JB composes his spiritual music these days, but I'd love to see a return to his super-shred bach-influenced roots.

Fuck me. As was said, being able to learn and play this by ear is just from another universe. Being able to write this... can't find a word for this.

What blows me away is that Loomis played that WHOLE freakin' thing in one shot absolutely flawless-down to the vibrato and inflection. Amazing!

Loomis is the guy JB should use for future releases of any new work.. he used Ferkins in the past who is a fine player but kind of infuses his own playing into things. Loomis has the right feel. Would be epic.

I love that kids who were not even born 10 years after that album was made are going to see this and revisit JB's catalog. That is the best thing about this other than Loomis' incredible playing.
