I do not know why I even bother playing the guitar!!!

Amazing... and nearly as amazing as Jason writing it and playing it originally.
GREAT playing by Loomis and I thought that was an Axe FX... cool job by Kemper

The secret's all in the Kemper- the latest update has the Shrapenal Shred Matching FX

That Becker poster on the wall gives the whole thing a classy touch.

Quoted for truth.

This'll sound dumb, but I wish there truly was the laying of hands ability, I'd heal Jason in 2 seconds if I had it.

I used to have that album when I was in high school in the mid 80's. I love the photo of Jason on the back wall.:)

Jeebus that's just loads of awesome, made my morning!

Jesus!................I'm no sure what to say. Perhaps simply...........amazing!!

really great job!

jason was SOOOOO good back in his prime. he always struck me as the perfect blend of yngwie euroclassical technoshred with way more vocabulary to choose from, and eddie pentatonic blues phrasing, sense of humor, and intervallic insanity.

i drum this recording up every time a jason becker thread comes to life because even though the recording quality chunks you can hear jason just tear marty a new one at this pre cacophany show clinic with superior speed, fluidity and melodic command.

the crowd response says it all.

they had just received their "new" ada preamps the night before and were jazzed about using them that day, although the concert that night sounded like a hot mess.

marty was really into japanese music, and avoided giving away how old he was, and how much longer he had been playing the guitar than jason. jason was 18 or 19 at the time this was recorded compared to marty being 25-26
