There are those that don't like JL. Thats cool. To each their own. I think Jeff plays with fire and has the technique to put most shreddes to shame.

I love Jeff man he is very inspiring. He is absolutly one of my favorites for this type of music. I love that is not just the same old scales played at a million miles an hr. His playing is full of soul for sure.

Loomis destroys!!! He is one of my favs. I think he is one of the best metal guitarists in the past 15-20 years!!! I have been lucky enough to see Nevermore a couple of times and have actually met Loomis!!!

Gotta love those cheeseheads!!!

i guess im alone in just not liking this guy much... weird cause i LOVE nevermore but i have loomis' first CD and cant really listen to it. I turn it on and it blends into the background. He can shred but to me it sounds like sweep picking with occasional interruptions of power metal-esque leads. It doesn't hold my attention but all the riffs he wrote in Nevermore were heavy as hell. he sure the heck can play, just as a solo guy doesn't do it for me.
