Jerry Cantrell endorsing Gibson

Cool! I've seen a few of his posts this year from Gibson about them sending him certain guitars.

I wonder if they will do a signature of his DT LPC. Although I'm not sure how Gibson will feel about doing a relic of how those polka dots came to be...

Yeah, that's the LP that immediately comes to mind, but I could see them avoiding it.

He's been playing LP Juniors in the studio a lot for the AIC 2.0 albums.

This one comes to mind too

He's used quite a few different Gibsons, especially since they gave him a handful in the last year or two, but the Degradation Trip guitar is the one that would immediately come to mind if you hear Jerry Cantrell and Gibson together. It would be cool if that one would happen. From what I've read they don't have any solid plans for anything specific that they're building yet.

Love Jerry, Love Alice, Love Gibson. Win, Win, Win for me :)

This would be cool, but TBH I would never buy one. Prices are crazy these days with signature Gibsons. Glad to see them back together.

Not only are the past rockstars grabbing at straws so are the companies evidently. The fuckn show is over kids.

God dammit I forgot how awesome they were.

I saw Cantrell live in Dallas back in...had to be early 2000s.
My sister was in town and I wanted to show her a good time, big city style. We grew up in Amarillo.

Killer crowd, killer show.
I distinctly remember being surprised by the use of a white LPC most of the show.

Wine red is the worst color on a LP.
Its a shame he ruined his white LPC with burn marks.
Kids don't play with fire.

IMO the Gibson guitars are awesome these days. Like I said before, years ago I got a weight relieved Les Paul Standard for $2600 I think. In 2019, got one for hundreds cheaper brand new and they kept all of the wood intact. Better pots, plays like butter, etc. My next guitar is going to be an SG Standard. I love the idea of a Csntrell guitar. Slash Gibsons are all over and other "typical" Gibson users. Good to see something different.
