did this quick shootout...

the 535q sure has a lot of teakability, but tried to keep it simple to compare to the JC Wah

i also have a few more clips comparing the JC wah with a True bypass modded GCB-95 and a morley tremonti wah in my sig if anyones interested.

Which do you like better? I've got an OLD 535Q that's seen better days. I think I need to try some contact cleaner or something on it. Goes from 0 to 60 with nothing in between, kinda uneven sweep. If I can't get it working properly, I'll have to grab something else. Haven't really done any research yet.

^ to be totally honest, i knew i was buying into the marketting hype with the JC.
im a fan boi thou (i even have the same initials JC...so took it as fate) as AIC was the reason i wanted to play guitar 15 years ago.

ive owned better wahs, but i still dig the JC wah. i did a shootout between a TB modded GCB-95 and they sounded very similiar too.
i really just use the JC wah with the toe down freq knob on min (less trebly setting)

the 535Q has a lot of tweakibility thou. didnt really go through all its q range and boost function as the clip wouldve dragged on.
the recommended JC setting sounds pretty close.

if i had to pick/recommend one?

535Q if you like to tweak lots of diffrent sounds
JC if youre a AIC fanboi.

but out of all the wahs ive owned, (Morley Tremonti, Bad Horsie I and II and some cheap washburn wah) id have to say my fav for high gain is the Tremonti wah. for cleans, i prefer the crybabys.
