Hey has anyone heard anything more about the possibility of Dave putting out a Jerry Cantrell sig model? I saw it mentioned a while back, but was wondering if anything ever came of it.

Very interesting! Thanks Dave and I will be watching closely to see if anything shows up at NAMM.

Can't really talk about it yet. Things are not finalized and the namm show is upon me. We will see if it makes it.

Hi Dave,
Will the JC model have an improved clean ch over the BE100 or will it be about the same amount of headroom?

Jc clean is similar to the be100's new clean but it has a mid control

Can exisiting BE100's be modded for the JJ tweaks to the BE circuit?

yes yes ! I have checked out various clips which someone had it posted at the main topic section titled bruce kulick namm 2014 ... to be really frank this is the bad amp I heard ! I hope it should be on the production ... like its openness sweet chime and good mids, tight and its raw energy inside it... ;) I don't really know how to explain it but hearing all the friedman clips this amp it just took my ears away...

Yes I too saw the Bruce kulick video and the amp sounded great.

Didn't someone say Jerry Cantrell was going to be doing a video for his new sig model? any word on this :D

As long as we get a signed contract we can make them now. Just waiting on this. Should be any day.

so which of the friedman is more open sound , raw tone, slight compression with clear tight definition that goes sweet on the mids and not too harsh on treble which can be driven at high gain ? the SS100 or cantrell ?

I agree. Love mine. High enough gain for most of my moods. I use the Archon for over the top metal tones but the SS can cover just about anything else, even early AIC tones.
