Jerry Dyer Surreal Amplification modded Traynor YBA-1A Jose master volume and larmar as well. KT-88. Recorded on iphone so forgive its brittle nature. This amp was pretty beefy to start with but I wanted more gain. I have to say its a 100% better now and Jerry was very easy to work with and nailed it right away. Cab is a 4x12 mojotone with two blackback celestion 25's and an 80's vin 30 and a wgs vet 30. 69 les paul with wcr godwood. Keeley TS-9 plus for a second there
 
Nice!!!! It sounds good a little brite through your phone but I'd love to hear it with a good mic. Sounds great though, you can hear the tone is there for sure. I didn't knor Jerry did mods. Nice chops BTW.
 
Thanks it may be eq'd a little brite but the iphone im sure couldnt have that good fidelity its just convenient. I will try to do one with a mic

Like I said, it sounds good, you could sure hear the balls of the amp!
 
I had a '79 YBA-2A and if I knew something like that was possible with it I never would of sold it :cry:

Traynors are cool inside. Lots of Mustards !! and it had red Freds..... :lol: :LOL:
 
...just saw this thread,but i'd like to add that the jose MV mod that Jerry Dyer added to my Ceriatone Plexi50 amp came out GREAT! ...so,FWIW,this "clip" probably doesnt do nearly enough "justice" to capture the excellent TONE of the mod.just my 4 cents :D
