Jet City amps with the BE mod

Hey Jet City users or people experience with the BE mods.. how do you find those Jet city's with the BE mod hold up to the real thing? Just to get a taste of Friedman within a budget, do they live up at all? I know there has been some revisions to the BE 100 so i wouldn't expect the tone to be the same, just wondering what the consensus is on these and whether people still enjoyed these amps or felt like the Friedman magic just didn't work with these. :confused:
 
I'm curious about this as well as how it compares to what Brian at BFG does
 
I own a BE-100 and owned a BE modded Jetcity. I' gig with the BE-100 and have gigged with the Jetcity with the BE/SAT mod. Anything Friedman does has some sort of magic to it. You can't compare the two really. The BE-100 is his total design ground up. I recommend getting a Friedman Pink Taco knowing that difference on a budget for $1299 from Brad (forum master..hehe) at King Guitar. :)
 
I've never played one of Brians amps (BFG). But from all the great video's. They sound awesome :)
