Jimi Hendrix smoked Eric Clapton

I believe he had a very bad reaction to the C-19 jab, which prompted his vocal opposition to mandates. I don't remember hearing that he was against regular vaccines like an actual anti-vaxxer. I could be wrong, but.....

Pretty sure you’re right on that. Didn’t have a good reaction to that vaccine but he’s never taken a general, across the board, anti-vax stance that I’ve heard of.

That might be the case, idk. If he actually had a reason to be against it then that’s one thing, I thought it was just being an upity Brit prick at the time. Didn’t he have some sort of incident surrounding it ? Like a hissy fit or something ? I don’t remember now lol

I think it almost killed him. And I think the hoopla around it was largely driven by the usual suspects and the media.
 
I hate comparing anyone, especially 2 legends but Hendrix was SO much more of a "complete" guitar player than Clapton it's not even funny. Just his rhythm playing alone seals the deal. Clapton never played anything like Hendrix rhythm playing on Axis, Eric was more straight up blues. Albeit GREAT straight up blues, but nowhere near the complete package Jimi was.

Probably not but it makes me wonder how much of his stuff you have actually listened to besides the regular radio shit. For instance have your heard "Trashman" ?

I'm also not sure how anyone can categorize something like I Don't Live Today or anything off Are You Experienced or Axis Bold As Love as noise.

A few others

But most what i hear sounds like GC on a Saturday afternoon during a 50% off sale

Been crazy.. 👽 👾 Have to give credit where credits due.. Hendrix & Clapton are legendz but shits came a long way since then. They deserve their flowers but so do their careers as things will only continue to progress, & new breeds of players arise. Especially on a technicality level..
