Found this video of The Ringers (Jimmy Herring, Wayne Krantz, Michael Landau) playing last month & wanted to share it. An masterclass in tone, volume control, dynamics, blues playing, & responding to other musicians in a band setting. All 3 guitarists are killing it, but I was very impressed with the camera work showing Mike Landau's control of his tone through the volume control, tone control & pickup switch.

Herring killed them imo.
Landau made me nervous with his setting changes for each note played. It reminded me of some Malmsteen vid, where he explained some solo and insisted, that it is only played right if you change to neck position for that one note (... played at 180bpm or smth).
