I cannot find any concrete info. I see it listed as both, but more often as 30w.

I just picked up a 95’ JCM900 and threw a set of these in it. Sounds worlds better than the stock Sovtek 5881. I had around 470 plate volts and biased at 43ma. I played with bias from 36-43ma and 43ma was the sweet spot, adding a lot more punch and bottom end without losing definition. If these are truly 30 watt tubes, I’m at around 68% dissipation.

I put a JAN Phillips 5751 in the PI, and Tung Sols in V1/2. This amp sounds damn good! For a $600 amp you really can’t beat it. I’ve always wanted one to tinker with.

30. So, I do 30/470 x .70 = .0445.
I'd be good with 43mA. I don't really ever go beyond 70%, and more than not, stay right around 68-69%.

Right on. That’s great exactly how I was calculating it out. Thanks.
