I love this guys videos. I always go to his channel for amp demos, he has a good understanding of how to make an amp demo and show every facet of the amp. He added that snippet of AIC riffs but it was for fun, the rest was actually demoing the amp, and showing the full range of the clean channel. I thought that was cool. This is definitely on my radar since the JJ100 is more than I would prefer to spend for home use.

Yeah I love his channel. He does a good job. I've bought a few kemper profiles off him too that were really good. I Hafler Triple Giant I believe.

Damn my mouth is frothing. Likely more than I would like to spend. I love the cleans. I would like a comparison to the splawn supersport. The supersport has more gain options and better gain variants that are available.

It's 1499 and released on the 7th. I'm looking forward to seeing some reviews of it. This video sounds fantastic. It's making it very hard to choose my next amp. I've narrowed it down to a Supersport or this. Im not holding my breath for a comparison vid but I would love to see one.

We all could have a line of naked strippers walk in front of us and we would be all googly-eyed, etc. Then Dave Friedman walks by with an amp and we all shit ourselves and follow him down the road like the Pied Piper.

Well if nothing else, the Supersport has more options and is made in the USA so at least gives you something to start with. I'd write down a "pros" and "cons" list on a piece of paper. I do that whenever I'm trying to decide between buying anything.

I think the lower mid gain is better on the Supersport, so is the selection of gears and the od1 od2. You can go from plexi to jcm without having to turn a knob.

Its tough though, the JJ Jr. has nice cleans. But the cleans on the splawn can get dirtier.

I would love to compare both at different volumes.
