Cool interview, he seems like real down to earth guy! Can't believe he never changed the tubes in his main Marshall for all those years. Real credit to those old Siemens tubes. Funny how some of these pro guys don't tinker with or maintain their gear (amps/tubes) like most of us.

Yeah I know and the tubes blew during the recording of the main rhythm tracks in Scapegoat!!

Horrible interviewer is right.. if you are going to ask about gear, make sure you know something about it. He could have taken the gear part so much further if he knew anything about Marshalls or the mods of the day.
