Me too, however, they are still one of the greatest for Wings, Toys, Rocks. His tone (especially that ring modulator/octave effect he's using) was a huge let down for me. When I saw the JPP group three years ago (clip posted above) Joe's tone was raw, organic and as in-your-face as ever.
Iffy about the new CD but hey, at least it's originals that sound organic and like classic Aerosmith.
