Playing a Golden Axe.

I don't see many artists playing other artists signature axes, or I just dont pay enough attention...

There is a severe lack of classy explorers. I wish they would revisit the explorer pro from several years back. The one that had Les Paul Custom inlays, ebony board and flame top. In full size.....

Joe has never been one to give a flying fuck about much, so why would he care if the guitar he likes is someone else's signature model? Betcha it got put in his hands and he said "I like how it plays, I'll take it." To him it's just a great playing explorer.

Here's a good question...take your favorite guitar company/model/finish, and if it was a Justin Bieber model would you rock it? If it looked the way I liked and played like a dream,I wouldn't care one iota. If my hello kitty strat had a floyd (and I liked strats) It would be the first guitar I played every time I plugged in.

Couldnt care less if it was a conscious choice to play someone elses model or pure coincidence. Never the less i do find it interesting as its not what i would expect to see.

As long as it doesn't say "BIEBER" down the fretboard. This signature model is at least classy. Some signature models go nuts with custom graphics and logos. To most Joe Walsh fans, they would never know that the guitar is someone else's signature model. Now, if it had pin stripes and the Avenged Sevenfold bat on it...
