Joe changed guitars throughout the night, but he played slide on some sort of newer Ibanez 24 fret guitar with a natural real pale top on it - kinda an unfigured maple top I guess on one song. I was kinda surprised to see that. He also played a Ernie Ball Lukather sig, a Gretsch, a fender strat in seafoam green with black pickguard and white pickups, some semi-hollow I couldn't identify, a fender tele and a Carvin singlecut, among others.
Glenn Frey played a nice LP and a black LP junior.
The new guy - played great, didn't really care though because he wasn't Felder. I saw em in '94 with Felder and it was just a lot cooler to see Walsh and Felder trade leads.
Oh, and the crowd seemed to go nuts for the Joe Walsh stuff over the Eagles tunes - I thought the roof was going to blow off the place when he played his songs. We turned on him though - on Life's been good, he sang "I have a limo, right in the back... I think I'm gonna vote for Barack." A LOT of people booed after he sang that, you could hear it over the PA. was kinda funny actually.
