Is that Channel 1 crunch mode for real? Can anyone confirm this? It sounds wicked chunky! I think I heard a small delay there too (on that part of the vid).

just went from the randall 667 demo a few threads over this and wow what a difference!
his playing is ok
i don't get why peeps worship dude but the amp sounds stellar

His playing is ok?

Playing sounds good for someone wanking while another turns knobs.

Amp sounds great. Buy new 25 watt, used mark v, or 5153 for much less $?

"Ok" can mean "Not my thing" or in other words it's just his personal opinion and tastes and not reflective of JP's actual talent. He does absolutely nothing for me either but that doesn't mean I don't respect his ability

Amp is fantastic. I was going to buy one but I don't have a need for it at this time. Really liked playing through it! Will definitely get one at some point perhaps next year.

I really think Mesa out did themselves its a LOT of tone and features for the money for me far and away the best value for your money in 2014 and should win a ton of awards.
Kudos to Mesa for delivering something so cool

I keep mine in the office at the house, with headphones for silent play and noodling/practicing without disturbing the piece. Not having to mess with a cab is great. Replaced the Axe FX for this purpose.

Think you just sold me Steve. No need for a cab, line out for headphones and silent recording. Yay.

Hi Steve,

Is that Petrucci clip a fair representation or not?

We could have bro....I ended up drunk as fuck last night and buying two guitars I can't afford and I don't remember!

This thing sounds great though...I want this, a Thiele cab and a Carbon Copy. Going old school for FX. :D After watching this one and the Chappers vid I think this could keep me happy for a long ass time...there are a ton of tones in that amp and I dig em ALL!

EDIT: I know this isn't gonna be to everyone's taste, but here's same amp doing some 7 string metal, some cleans with delays, too. Sounds badass and I dig that it'll hold together for lower tunings. I think I have one guitar tuned to standard and everything else is downtuned like a motherfucker....

Drunk buys are some of the best!!! Like a cracker jack box. Never know what shows up in the mail.

These 2 red mics on the cabs caught my attention. Somebody know which model?

sound really good on the Mesa/Petrucci demo - I wonder if it would sound that good in person
