The guys in my band did the backing track for me. My drummer did the vocals, drums and keys and engineered. He does a scary Steve Perry impersonation :) My bass player Don Lecompte added the bass track.

There is NO guitar on the backing track...I recorded the guitar as I shot the video.
Using a Gibson LP because the track is in 440hz tuning, my Suhr is a half step flat, so I couldn't use it for this.

I am running the OD100se+ into a HotPlate--Duet--Logic--Redwirez IR's. Silent recording.

I hope you guys enjoy this guys voice..it's killer!!

Very strong work--excellent tone and great facial expressions. Keep up the good work, and...

Play it cuz you love it!!

Cheers,

Very nice. I like the tone much more than your Axe Fx tones.

Your guy singing nailed it. I mean if you hadn't said otherwise I'd have thought it was the real deal. As alway, great playing.

+1 on the OD SE+, sounds much better than the Axe rig.

Thanks Dave, I really like both rigs. Thanks for selling me the HotPlate I'm having a blast with it at home (where I keep my OD100 rig). After hearing Pete's demo on the Faustine with the V speaker...man I gotta get me one of those!

Roy is one talented guy, it's been an honor playing with him and Don all these years. I have been very fortunate to play with guys with such talent and compatible personalities :)

That sounds fantastic! Great job nailing that song and great TONE. What's that running in your rack, GMajorII?

Just watched it and its great. Thanks for posting... Love the OD sound you get! and the singing is .... WOW

great stuff as usual man. your drummer has a hell of a set of pipes, sounded amazingly good. i've come to realize you can always count on a Mark Day video to bring kick ass tones, playing and some of the best guitar faces too.

It's fun to play with both :) The SE+ is definitely a beast!

Very nice, Mark!
I love the tone of that LP as well

Thanks! I like the LP but I find after playing the smooth wonderful SS frets on the Suhr it's like the LP has a brick wall on each fret ready to take my fingers off at the tips..lol

One of my favorites ..., ..., and you REALLY do it some serious justice !

You've proven time and time again that you can nail your tone w/either your SEPlus or the Axe, and given that in this example you're loading down the head and using the RedWirez IR's, I'd guess it'd be even easier to match them now.

But ..., is there any noticable difference in "feel" between the two ( when you're using the same gutiar ) ?

Thanks tweed, fucking GMajorII crashes and locks up worse than any of the GMajor1's I had. Piss me off. Of course it was sitting there and I let the warranty run out..DUH!!!
In my rack I have a X2 Wireless, VL GCX Switcher, ISP Decimator ProRack G, EVH Phase 90, EVH FLanger, Boss BF2 and Suhr Koko Boost(LOVE!)
