It's fun to play with both The SE+ is definitely a beast!

One of my favorites ..., ..., and you REALLY do it some serious justice !

You've proven time and time again that you can nail your tone w/either your SEPlus or the Axe, and given that in this example you're loading down the head and using the RedWirez IR's, I'd guess it'd be even easier to match them now.

But ..., is there any noticable difference in "feel" between the two ( when you're using the same gutiar ) ?

I find when recording without the cab in the room (AxeFx or OD100) the feel is different just because the sound is coming out of the studio monitors. Both scenarios feel better than any modeller or software I've tried.

I'm having a good time with the OD100 at home and doing these things on the weekend.

I still use and love the AxeFx as well. Both are fantastic tools.

Now that I've heard Pete's demo on the Faustine, I really want one of those....it sure sounds like the comfy beaver to me.

Ya know ..., I wish the Phantom ( w/the speaker emulation ) had arrived on the sceen a little sooner. I might have kept my SEPlus and just added that instead .... Not that I regret getting the Axe, but John's OD's are just that good !

And ..., "comfy beaver" must be a Canuk saying ? I'm almost afraid to ask

Lol....That is NOT a turtle neck...just a regular button up shirt with a collar. I guess the color is just a tad saturated...lol

Thanks Jason. It's a Duncan AHB1 in the bridge and a Sustainiac in the neck. The head is an OD10se+. I love the PT100. Same clean channel, just as much gain on CH2 and more open and raw. I wouldn't have an issue owning either or..wicked amps!
