To be honest we could never find a drummer that was as good as him...in our first band in the early 80's he would teach me all the guitar solos. A really talented dude!
In the studio he is a killer engineer.

Seems like there's at least one in every great & successful band ....

Samhill Band was lucky enough to have "at least" TWO ( you and Roy )

Thanks Roger!

You'd love the Apogee

After that many, you need to figure out how to pack him up and take him to Cali w/you !

I really don't like Journey, but you guys nailed it.

A question, how are you using the IR's? Some kind of software or is it used just in Logic some kind of way. I used to do a similar thing with the J-Stations cab models. But i just plugged the Hotplate line out into it using my amp head as a "model".

First of all...thanks dude!

I bring the fuzzy yucky line out of the HP to my Duet and an input strip in Logic. I insert a plugin called Space Designer (included with Logic) and I bring in a Redwirez IR into SD and bingo instant cab of my choice. There are a few things you have to setup in SD but there are easy step by step instructions on the Redwirez site.

Cool I'm using Logic too. I was hoping there was a way to use some sims in there. It would be nice to use in certain situations. Did you get the whole library or just what you wanted?

This is exactly how I do it as well with RedWirez, just have the G12M's though. I also use Amplitube, Guitar Rig or Revalver by just using the cabs only. Lots of variation, none that blow me away though. Cabs are a bigger part of modeling than most people think I think.
Cool. Thinking I'll just get one set and try them out. Then go from there. There is a cab mic'd up with different mics that I use, it sure would be nice to have these available as well for different tones. The Fane loaded Hiwatt cab is very tempting.
