I just got this for practicing while sitting on the couch. 3 Channels. Reverb, delay, flanger, chorus, tremolo, phaser. Looper. Tuner. Drum machine. Rechargeable battery. Built in speakers that sound ridiculously good for their size. No apps! Actual knobs! Bluetooth for jamming along with music from your phone. Sounds great with headphones.

my kid wanted a small amp for his college dorm, and I got him a Positive Grid Spark GO, 5W, that's similar.

It uses a phone app, but kids his age are used to apps more than real knobs.

He uses headphones because he said the speaker doesn't get loud enough sometimes.

That seems dope af tbh

Holy shit, this is exactly what I need! BTW I think I saw poor Jam Buddy #1 on a milk carton. I hope his family finds closure one day.

I've tried a few different things for low-volume portable practicing, and most of them sounded like shit. Totally uninspiring. Don't get me wrong, this isn't anywhere near as satisfying as plugging into 120 watts of tube amp, but it's good enough that it makes me want to play.
