You can't go wrong with an XTC. It's a killer amp I had one for many years.
I sold it to Dave Z. so I still get to play it on retube

I am really liking mine. I sold my Vh4 to get it. It's not nearly as tight and defined as the Diezel but I don't mind. The tone is very thick and juicy!

I have done some. I try to just add on thing that can be bypassed so the original stock tones are still there. Here's a few pics of one that I did some things to:

Pre and Post 2004 Red channel mod on the front below the input jack.....

Plexi function out on the footswitch........

Push Pull Treble Pot that takes it from stock to scooped mids for a different clean voicing....

Assignable Saturation switch for the Blue or Red or Both channels.....

Sounds meaty! I had a 101A with 6L6s.

I still dig the older look of them with the black panels and metal grille.
