I think the price is okay too.

The sattelites were actually a great idea and made slaving easy as hell. They definitely cut down the need to take two heads out or a poweramp out for a gig !!

With that said you can get the same results by slaving two boogie heads together but who the heck wants to lug that around lol!!! The sattelites solved that because they are lighter !!

looks cool. How are you going to use it with your mark III or mark IV?

Are you going to get a mark V if they come out, I know you need more gear :D :D :D

I have seen these several times and always think...wow that seems cool.

But truth is, I don't have a clue how to use it  :D

It very easy bro! Think of the satellite as a poweramp that has a graphic EQ built in. You take the slave out of your amp or your if you use a preamp you take the preamp o/p and send that signal to the satellite and the sattelite goes out to a speaker or a pair of speakers. It was a brilliant Idea that never really took off for some reason.

I love the thought of the Satellite. Great idea. Plus I can use it as a power amp for my preamps.

I think I will mainly use it with my Mark III, but I may have to have some fun and hook up my Mark IV to 2 4x12's use the slave out with a "Y" cord to my MArk III and the Satellite and power up 4 more 4x12's. The tone should be god like. :D

Well, that sounds simple enough....don't know why my little bean was making it out to to be something complicated

Dont forget to add a nice big VROOOOM first though :D

Never saw a rackmount version. I remember they had two different combo versions (one stripped down without graphic EQ).
