all hell will break loose with a LP plugged into this head....

so, is it a noticeable difference in tone from a standard 5150 II/6505 +? less lows, more high mids? details! :)

have no clue, never played a Peavey 65XX amp!

I'm a very dedicated EL34 guy at heart (for hard rock think Ministry, RATM, RHCP, etc.)

I had a Peavey XXX a while back, not really impressed, knobs were immature-ish.

I wish they sold a Peavey 6534+ 50 watt head. Not sure how good sales are on this amp...

well, i know people back in the day were adding the bias mod and sticking EL34s in, and even mixing ELs and 6L6s. i guess Peavey just decided to put it out there stock? LOL i love the 5150s personally, i miss mine terribly.

still...id love to hear one!

nature is more badass than any amp or whistle. you have seen the angel of the lord.

120 watts RMS into 16, 8, or 4 ohms

what diff does it make to run same head into same cab (all mono) but 4 ohm rather than 16 ohm? more bass, etc.? louder?

I haven't gotten to try the 6534 out yet but I love the 6505 and 5150. Best amp for the dollar amount you can buy imo. . .
