1. Started with nothing because a luthier told me all this mineral oil get absorbed into rosewood, dries, cracks, and then causes you to add more.
2. Then went to Dr Stringfellow and loved what it did to my senses and strings.
3. Then I went Fast Frets, which seemed like a happy medium.
4. Then @Monkey Man turned me onto Miracle Cloth. Love these and they show how dirty my strings really are
5. But lately I've migrated to-

That stuff beats everything.

I repair furniture for a living. I use mineral spirits once every year or two. If the wood is drying out I wipe it down with a damp cloth. Oils do not replace moisture. All of the conditioners/cleaners/etc on the market are overpriced junk that I'd personally never use.

I keep my house at a consistent humidity, and the only time I've had to condition a board is when I've bought a used guitar that needed it. When I do, I use food grade mineral oil.

Most lemon oil is just lemon-scented mineral oil.

I can't afford to keep my entire house a constant temp/humidity, but my guitar/amp room is always 74F/45%RH. Not always an easy task in the Northeast US. It really does keep instruments in pristine condition though, comparatively. I've seen guitars that sat in humid cellars, and dry attics. It's unfortunate, but they will develop issues.
