When I get my new KT77s what is the process for these new tubes? What are the steps for right when I get them?

Just bias them or let it do by a tech who knows what he´s doing.

Thank you for the reply Peter! :)

Is it 70ma a pair? I suck at remembering these numbers...

I don't have to let them burn in for 24 hours?

Go to 75mA each pair and burn it in for 24 hours.
Then adjust it to 70mA with proper wall power.

Best,
Peter

what do u mean by "burn in"? Like let the amp stay on for 24 hours?

Best method is to run the amp for 5 hours and let it cool
down for one hour. Repeat this 4 times.

Basically use it for a good while and then adjust the bias to account for any drift

I'm intrigued to know what my Hagen will sound like with 77s, but right now, the 34s are pure magic. Love the amp, Poppa!!

But the lad needs to take into account further bias adjustment for any unexpected queef affect.

BTW - the 34L is the bomb with the Diezel machines. 34Ls are also the bomb in any "Voluptuous Hog Tramp" amp. 77s are too boomy and loose like a cross between a (L34 & 6L6) and not tight or nearly as rich in harmonic dynamics compared to the 34L is, bro Mo.
