Just got the Kemper! Clips inside!

Sounds pretty cool.......the countdown for mine arriving is Thurs.....black one.......pretty excited. Thanks for the clips....post more if you make them.....I love listening to clips of this thing.... :)

You got it Holmes! I had been pretty skeptical in the beginning.......I was all set to sell my Standard for the Axe 2....but since have decided to potentially keep my Standard and just obtain the KPA.....I've got a friend with an Axe 2 that will let me borrow it soon so I can compare all three.......should be fun.... :thumbsup:

Just be careful not to have the AXE 2 (6.0 release) Profile the Kemper while the Kemper is simultaneously Profiling the AXE 2- can create a Black Hole to Infinity.....

..........or possibly become "self aware".

:thumbsup: I have really been considering going 100% modeling since I just play at home. It seems like with these new units the sounds are finally good enough to be comparable.

Kemper? Still not able to find an AFII? :lol: :LOL:

Maybe this is your ultimate NAD... whenever you get bored, borrow and profile for a new rig :)
 
Kemper, never did get an AFII....

I'm hoping so, regardless, still have my C-200, XXX & Gutierrez modded SL-X :D
 
Back to a XXX? Didn't know you got one of those :) Those are cool amps...

The Kemper looks very cool, I just wonder about it when not playing through monitors/FRFR. I still tend to think modelers sound best through a power amp and cab without impulses....
 
Yep, got a soft spot for the XXX, may be my Gary Holt fanboy showing, but I love those things. :D


Pete (stratotone) has said he's got killer results both ways, can't wait to find out for myself ;)

Pete (Stratotone) and Ola seemed to do just fine thru a regular amp and cab?

you need a power amp, but word is they are working on a power amp that you will put in back of kemper, there is a space for it I believe
