I had that album 24/7 in my player for a long time. Awesome playing, great songs.

Unfortunately i don't like the second album as much.

I agree with everything you said.

I like Warren! I have Nights In Shining Karma. I listen to it every once in a while. Some pretty nice songs on there. I've heard some stuff off the newer one, but I didn't download it though. I should grab it.

He did a version of Brothers In Arms one time back in HCAF days and that is still one of my all time favorite songs.

It's MendoNsa :)

And I agree, super nice guy, and fantastic player. I remember thinking participating in the old HCAF jams was no point when he also joined in :D

There was that one backing which we all hit at one time, he blew the roof off with his take.

Great musician.
Was it this one?

Warren always has a great tone and a nice touch and plays melodies rather then riffs...inspiring stuff.

Hey buddy... I hope you're having a GREAT New Year, and wish you and yours-- all the best.

Your friend/fan,

Zach

Doing good , bro - currently in India for some gigs and sessions work. I've got a OD100 Classic+ which, with the Badger18 has sorted me out amp wise. I've also got a late 70's JMP 2203 sitting at John Suhr's shop to get modded to CH2 specs (plus loop) on the Classic+. Should be a nice little amp arsenal, heh heh heh

Currently saving up for a portable recording rig - if you thought guitar GAS was expensive, this is another level altogether ;)

Glad to hear it...

I can relate to GAS being expensive. BELIEVE me... I can relate. I have been stoked with my rig lately, but am gassing for a couple of amps and guitar myself... but am not complaining. Too much to list so a pic is faster:

Wanting:

Suhr PT100
EVH Marshall amp of some type (Mojave Peacemaker, Friedman, Fortin, Jerry Dyer Mod, Bray mod... or something similar... undecided)
Another Fuchs ODS

and a Floyd Les Paul...

Yup, I've seen that pic - how many roadies does it take to cart that? Heh heh heh heh...

The PT100 should take care of your Marshall GAS I think - that feedback knob on the back is a nifty thing, lets you choose the character of the amp, from warm and squishy to spanking and bold. I've played a friend's and it's a great amp, super nice clean channel to boot. I prefer the lower gain and voicing of the classic+ though, as I've always got a boost/drive pedal on at some point.

Right on... I was thinking (for tonal flexibility), The VH Marshall set for Just that tone, the PT100, to cover the other Marshall and Fender tones, the MKIII Coli, and the Fuchs for that smooth Robben Ford thing. The PT100 is an amp I really amp looking forward to getting my hands on. Mark Days (samhill, and Pete Thorn's demos sound GREAT!) I'm waiting until they finish their MIDI implementation and redesign, to get one though. Can't wait... well... my wallet can... lol, but the gear junkie in me is going through the joneses.

Just me and one friend to move the rig. It's really not that bad.
