Just scored the 2009 ESP Hetfield Black Truckster

The first batch of the ESP Hetfield Trucksters in black for 2009 just hit the streets. Ordered online from Drummer City Guitar Land in Colorado. This is the first time I have ordered a guitar from them, but they have a hell of a customer service department. They emailed me back and wanted to know what size/make of strings I wanted, and tuned to what key for intonation, what picks I used and what t-shirt size. Never had a shop do that before when ordering online. Good folks over there and a huge stock of my favorite guitars - ESP's.

Meanwhile, I am going to be in such deep shit in a few days when it gets here. I may have to go furniture shopping or something worse....IKEA. I did sell two Marshall heads, a 4x12 cab and a Fender Tele today though. What perfect timing!

Yep. I have been waiting patiently for this one to come out. The LTD version hit some stores a month or so ago. I wondered where in the hell the ESP versions would show first and I just happened to catch it when the shop posted it online. They didn't even have the photo up yet. To me, ESP's are the best mass-produced guitar for the money right out of the box, along with Suhr, Anderson and probably a few others. ESP and EMG's just fuckin rock. I just couldn't wait for Christmas either!
