JVM 205 Vs. JCM 800 Clips

I liked the jvm lots too it's a killer amp. I think the 800 is more articulate though. It responds better to picking dynamics and my guitars volume. I think it's punchier, more open and raw too. The jvm is smoother more compressed and fluid. I'm happy with the trade so far an I can't wait to try out some nicer od's with it. Any suggestions? I'm thinking about an OCD, xotic rc or AC booster.

clip the bright cap on the 800, the volume won't go from can barely hear anything to KILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL so easy

Just thought I'd chime in with some jvm205 love of my own.. Here are some random ruff clips enclosed..Enjoy..

I do like the 800 better but it could be brightened up a bit. The 800 sounds a lot more fully bodied than the JVM and more bottom end. All of that said it might just be the camcorder or the room.

I've toyed with the idea of replacing my DSL with an 800 but since I'm not currently in a band it would just be entirely too loud to get a good sound out of.

I liked the JCM800, it sounded more raw and natural to me. Both sounded good though.

Ill have to listen with good headphones later, but honestly I liked the JVM a little more upon first listen.

Some people say the bottom end can get flubby when you turn it up though. Matter of preference. I left mine in.

I think I'm gonna leave it stock, I got no modding experience, even with simple stuff and I like the tone a lot as is. The volume will probably only end being an issue for me with sound guys lol.
