I agree with sentiments on the JVM where at first it sounds pretty good then it just doesn't quite get there after a minute. All the channels sound the same, just with variable levels of gain. It doesn't have the "breath" or dynamically alive thing a good 2203 or jmp has. If I found a 210H cheap I would get it for a fun house amp but I would never want it to be my main sound. When I sold the Triaxis, working at a dealer, it sounded better though the return of a DSL Marshall than it did with the 2:90. I've found most preamps sound better using a head for power. My quad sounds amazing using my MK V for power.
I predominantly play boogie now but grew up a total Marshall lover until they stopped making good new designs in the 90's. I would get the Triaxis but would get an EL34 based power amp and also a separate EQ. The dynamic voice control is too limiting.

Caveat...no one in an audience, except dorks like us would probably notice the deficiencies of a jvm vs a jmp/jcm in a live setting. Don't get crazy with the gain and it would probably work fine.

Good to know thanks for the advice ?

I’ve an opportunity to get a jsx on the cheap and I believe it has el34’s at stock, may be an option to pair it up with a triaxis

agree on pairing Triaxis with EL34 poweramp. I used Laney GH100 head for this.

Peavey Classic 50/50 is not bad poweramp but also nothing special. You get EL84 tone with all positives and negatives. Mesa 20/20 sound best for EL84 poweramp.

Get it. Yes it comes with EL34's. It's great at accompanying mesas

FWIW I have used just the power amp of the JSX with an ENGL preamp once, and it was good at holding down the fort, as such.

Just another thought... I prefer the JSX to the Marshall Satch signature as well.

I have a deal at the moment for a jsx, he wants 700€ I offered 550 and he wants 600 for it, it’s abroad so I don’t have the chance to test it live, but seems to be legit

Seems to be a good price

I'd probably go with a 3rd option like Diezel or Framus, but I tend to like German high gainers.

I would agree, but the price is double to triple.

They are cheaper in the states. Doesn't sound like a bad deal. You can make an offer on mine if you want. But I would have to figure out how to ship it to you. I have never shipped anything to the EU.

Yes definitely much cheaper in the states , I have seen a few of them on reverb which are well below the EU

I’m in Ireland myself so our lovely government charge 23% VAT once the item arrives , and they won’t release it until it’s paid, you are also then charged excise duty as well , makes importing from USA prohibitive,

Still at 600€ incl shipping it ain’t a bad deal, they also said they have recently serviced it and will put 6L6 or EL34 depends on what the customer wants

No shit! I love the extra stout. I can't drink more than a sixxer of a stout though in one sitting. But usually that is enough.

I drink Guinness extra stout at 62°F in a wine chiller. Lol.

Liquid carbs. Lol.

I can kill a 18 pack of lager or ale though without issue. Stouts are where it's at for me though. A sixxer of them and I am full and happy.

Ye Guinness is just a lot heavier on the stomach, pure carbs ? and iron of course

Still debating on the jsx for 600, I’ve a few other amps being offered to me at the moment like the jcm 2000 dsl 50 from some of my normal contacts over here, but I think the jsx looks like it’s a better all rounder, and I found the cable that can control the switching via midi through the ground control pro and gcx audio switcher
