But you can take solace in that your Guinness is the best tasting in the world

No shit! I love the extra stout. I can't drink more than a sixxer of a stout though in one sitting. But usually that is enough.

I drink Guinness extra stout at 62°F in a wine chiller. Lol.

Ah ye I can’t usually have more than 5 or 6 myself, it’s a meal in itself ?

Liquid carbs. Lol.

I can kill a 18 pack of lager or ale though without issue. Stouts are where it's at for me though. A sixxer of them and I am full and happy.

Ye Guinness is just a lot heavier on the stomach, pure carbs ? and iron of course

Still debating on the jsx for 600, I’ve a few other amps being offered to me at the moment like the jcm 2000 dsl 50 from some of my normal contacts over here, but I think the jsx looks like it’s a better all rounder, and I found the cable that can control the switching via midi through the ground control pro and gcx audio switcher

JSX has better clean and high gain. Is three channels, JCM2000 have a better 'classic' crunch but I prefer the JSX crunch personally. No brainer for me it would be JSX.

have you looked into Rivera?

Thanks for the heads up, Plenty of food for thought ?

Hadn’t looked into Rivera yet, did a quick search there, the knuckle head tre seems to be most common one available this side of the pond, checked out some reviews of it

Sounded pretty nice, they’re going for about 1300€

I have the original knucklehead k100. It's very different then the ktre. Two channels, one Marshallesque one slightly fenderesque, JCM800 gain level, hit it with a boost and it is a hell of an amp. The fender ish channel has REALLY sexy cleans.

The thing is bullet proof too. I would say that the construction and quality is every bit of mesa if not more.

It is not the best at low volume tbh though. Play it through k85`s and it's a monster. Not massive gain but IMO it's monstrous.

Listened to some YouTube clips of them, really good amp by the sounds of it

Can’t really find too many of them original series this side of the pond however

Still kind of undecided on what it is I will go for, triaxis for the overall flexibility, jsx as a cheaper alternative to the jvm, I think that’s where I’m at right now

But I wanna play through each of them and replay a jvm too and see what I come up with ?

Spoiled for choice

Thanks to everyone who gave advice and to all those who voted

It ended in a tie, 15 votes each

I am just getting back to full health after surgery so I will be trying out the triaxis, the jsx and then another play of the jvm before making my mind up

Thanks all ?

Guys need your help on the triaxis

Someone had mentioned to me on this thread that an el34 power amp would be ideal as well to pair with a triaxis

If I put this tria is through the fox return of say a dsl 50 would that work?

And then get a Mesa eq pedal for the loop of the triaxis

Thanks !
