For anyone on the fence, I bought an Ampete year or two ago and run four heads through it...While it seems like something that may not be necessary it has increased my enjoyment of playing these heads by 10X due to not having to pull the effects looks and speaker cables in a hard-to-access spot where my heads are stored.
