I assumed it had a class D power amp?

In a related note, that is 2 nights in a row I accidentally left the Katana ON when I went to bed, leaving it ON for like 12 hours each time. No ill effects (I hope). I think the top layout is doing that to me, I would have preferred a front layout for lots of reasons.

I did that once with my DSL in the 90s and it caused all kinds of issues.

I read the output power section was a Class A/B MOSFET power section, like the old 80's Randalls had. I definitely get that similar type of feel from it.

Not sure if the actual preamp/gain is digital modeling, or some sort of analog FET section. I am not sure how it could be FETs with all of the digital controls.
