As much as I love discussing all things Lynch...I love some of those Keith Urban tones also....He puts on a great concert with amazing tone ! These vids are long but enjoyable!
He hasn't used badcats on a regular basis for awhile now. He began using matchless after the badcats.kasperjensen":36a54mtv said:Does anyone know when he ditched the BadCats? Or was this something I made up?
I'd bet against this guy with Joe Bossamanna's live tone any day. Joe kills live. The Hoff":2jan3gvi said:My favorite musician today! Best live tone in the business in my opinion! Great singer, player, songwriter, and overall entertainer. Seeing him in October for the 3rd time, I really can't wait!!!

Great player though, for sure.![]()

Interestingly enough he did a CMT Crossroads with John Mayer (another popular musician/songwriter who let's his guitar skills take a back seat) and those guys tastefully tore it up. I come from the Satriani, Vai, VH school of playing but I do have a lot of respect for Mayer and Urban, regardless of the vehicle to which they wish to convey their guitar skills. Awesome video on a breakdown of his rig.
