Kemper Clip- Bark at the Moon!

Hey guys, I just recorded Bark at the Moon by Ozzy today. I used the Amp Factory Marshall 1987X Judas Priest profile and my WCR Les Paul. Please excuse any flub ups in my playing. My hands were cold and tight today.

I have booked studio time in the next 3 weeks to do my own profiles. Going pull out my Friedman Brown Eye, Blankenship VariPlex, Scumback Speakers, etc. Its going to be awesome!

Thanks man! I gotta tell ya though... it was a pain to play. LOL It was fun, but man its not as easy as some people think. That main riff will give your picking hand a good workout! Keeping up with the backing track was a challenge for me. But I did come in to this cold today. If I would of practiced it for a few days it would of been better.

But its all about having fun right?

Hey man, sounded great! Awesome tone, and you've got some great chops.


Just to be a constructive observer, I'd recommend you watch your timing a bit. There are lots of fast runs in this song, and to your credit you nailed them well, sometimes even faster than the backing track demanded :)
 
Sounds close enough to the original as well except it sits more upfront and doesn't use as much flange and whatever else he had on that album. I expected not to like it but those amp factory profiles sound awesome.

I am going to record more when I can. I have hundreds of backing tracks!
 
The tone really is pretty much spot on! I would say, however, to watch your timing as it was noticeably off in various places with the drum track :)

Yeah, I am getting hammered on more then one site due to the slight timing issue. Tells me I am never going to post anything again unless its perfect. I didn't expect the kind of reaction I have gotten. At least everyone likes the tone!

Dude, the playing was great. Don't stop posting. That solo is a tough one. Just take it constructively. Timing is tough no matter what you play. I thought it was a killer clip and I am looking forward to more.
