Well??? I am surprised I didn't see any posts about this. Anyone here on 3.0?

Here are the release notes:

This firmware introduces the following new features and fixes:

User Interface

- added: support of Profiler Remote including Looper and revised System menu (for details refer to chapter “Profiler Remote” in Reference Manual 3.0)
- added: new option of QUICK button allows to recall latest edit menu
- added: MIDI Output routing for two external devices and capability to send MIDI program changes in Performance Mode (for details refer to chapter “MIDI” in Reference Manual 3.0)
- added: MIDI CC #48/49 value 0 stepping Rig up/down in Browse Mode

Didn't know it was out yet! Gotta go update...

Steve
Yeah I saw it by surprise. I just ordered the Kemper Remote from the KPA website and was checking the forums. Saw it was on the Announcement thread. There's a new Rig Manager as well.

I would wait. There are all kinds of bugs being reported at the kemper forum even though they elevated it to an official release. I don't quite get that. I'm holding off as I have a gig tomorrow night and I don't have my remote yet.

Cool. Thanks for the heads up!

I ordered my remote today. Hopefully Sweetwater customers are still getting preferred placement in queue.

I installed it yesterday. No issues so far.
Nice!

I may hold off until my remote shows up. Supposedly Sweetwater customers get priority line placement for shipping from KPA.

Just stumbled upon the Public Beta the other day. Did that update, no issues.
Then I got an email from Kemper saying the release was available and users were urged to update from the beta.
I thought it was cool that I got an email suggesting I update. I appreciate that.
Anway, I updated to 3.0 (non-beta), played a bit but didn't have a ton of time on it yet.
I am excited to try the direct, head only, profiling!!!

I upgraded for the better cab separation. Yeah Sweetwater is awesome. I've been buying there for years.

NICE!!

I got some new TOV profiles... I'm almost done with the Mesa pack. Dude this last batch I did is killing me. I have this Orange Vintage Hi Gain Boosted profile. Everything at Noon. Playing it right now with my Axis.. The tone is killing me. It's so chewy... Love it lol :D

I lost my damn USB stick   So I have to wait to get one to upgrade. Im pretty pumped on it!

I upgraded too. Email seems to be broken but I like the new look/feel of the UI and the notifications center is great. Might jailbreak this thing eventually.

I thought I read on the KPA forum that Sweetwater was NOT selling the remote on it's own, but only as a package deal with the profiler..

Maybe it changed? I think it was Rich (skyhighrocks) that posted that a few days ago?
