1972 100 watt Marshall Superlead, into a '76 Marshall cab with celestion blackbacks w/55hz cones. SM57, close miked. All the pedals in the pic below were each placed in front and profiled, along with no pedal.

Here's a clip of the entire thing - each pedal got a judas priest riff and a hammered pentatonic thing to see how badly it 'blurred' the notes. While I prefer some over others, I liked em all personally. Let me know what you think.

Pedals were a Red Llama clone I scratchbuilt, TS9 and SuperOverdrives I modded, stock TS9, Fulldrive II, seymour duncan pickup booster, limited edition rig talk/plank cranker pedal, cool cat danelectro overdrive that was a ripoff of a timmy, and an Eric Johnson fuzz face.

great clip- for me I think I like 2:07 the best, but there's lots of good tones here!

Thanks Ray, that's likely a stock tube screamer :) I'll have all of the profiles up eventually. The feel changes a bit too, it's funny how just slamming the front of a tube amp can also change the touch response. The Kemper brings that through the profiles.

you sent me into a pedal lab...I just pulled out my Zakk MXR o/d out of the closet to battle my BB+ . I think I like the MXR better? The BB+ defintely is clearer and crisper, but the MXR seems to retain more girth and deliver a character gain my ears remember as good times 5-10 years ago (my best shows)....now I'm thinking, why did I never get a Tubescreamer? Alot of my favorite metal bands use them, and KWS loves them for those days I feel bluesy...oh no....pedal GAS
