So, I got the power rack around a month ago. I have to say, this thing is pretty awesome. One thing I have realized, good profiles make all the difference. Some profiles that come on it are awful, feel awful, and sound awful. others though, are totally amazing, both tone and feel, and the feel is a big part for me. out of all the profiles I have tried Michael Britt and Sinmix are in a league of their own. But, I have yet to try all of them. so if anyone knows of other profiles that feel and sound as good as Michael Britt, let me know.

There are amazing high gain, mid gain, slightly dirty and clean profiles. The M Britt Friedman and Morgan profiles are great, as well as some of his Marshall profiles. The Sinmix SLO is fat, and the Splawn profiles kicks all sorts of ass! Its amazing how some guys can make such killer profiles and others are just so/so.

yeah man, it just goes to show not everyone can mic an amp. It really comes down to that. There are cats that use nothing but an amp and an SM57 and make some amazing sounding stuff. Then some guys have access to Neve consoles, amazing mic pre's and their profiles suck! LOL!

If you haven't checked it out yet grab Michael Britt's 5150 pack. He did a killer job of creating a set of 5150 profiles with rock in mind...not metal. Really great pack!!! Also...one of my very favorite packs was created by STL Tones - Kris Crummett pack. A bit pricey but some of the absolute best sounding and feeling profiles that I use specifically for recording: https://www.stltones.com/products/kris- ... per-bundle

I have listened to a few
And the Mixberlin Recto blew my mind as well as his AC30

Welcome to the club! If you do a search of the forum, you'll be able to find a few threads that have links to some of the better profilers out there. Mattfig (above) and Pete (http://petesprofiles.weebly.com/) here on Rig Talk have some good ones! Good luck with the tone chasing! Cheers

Curious, I've been a dedicated Fryette user for a while and I've always heard that Fryette amps are particularly difficult to profile. I also have a D-Moll that I would want to profile, and I've also heard that the Diezel sounds are tough to achieve. What has been the experience of the board on these?

I'd be particularly interested in the D-Moll, Pittbull UL and CLX, Sig:X, and Deliverance 60/120 type sounds.
