I got a couple of requests to see what the Mark series profiles are like. They are great! The Amp Factory used a Mark II that was modded with NOS tubes. I think it sounds great! The camera (iPhone 4s and Tascam iM2) doesn't pickup the low end like I am hearing and feeling in the room but the tone is there. I only used one of the 15 profiles included in the package.

Either way, here you go. I will try to do some direct clips as well.

Wow that sounds great Chad! Would be very hard to tell the difference in a blind test.

I just went to The Amp Factory.

Looks like quite a few profiles. And for $10...?

So it looks like and sounds like the Kemper ca be expanded to cover 100 amps for about $100...

Do you like it better than the Mark V?

I like it better. I don't say that to upset the V owners but as you know I couldn't get along with the one I had. This profile sounds awesome in the room. Although the Mark tone isn't what I am chasing anymore I think this is one of the better Mark tones I have ever had. Better than my last IV. I would put this up there with the IIC+ I owned for a while. It's different but sounds great to me.

Thanks Will!. If I removed the placebo effect (knowing in advance it is the Kemper) I think most would have difficulty knowing it isn't a Mark amp.

How's the feel?

Feels great. You can really fine tune the "feel" if need be but left it as it was created. I just EQ'ed it for my cab, guitar and room.

I'll tell you, it is worth the price of these great profiles to have all of these different flavored amps profiled from the actual source.

Sounds great...which profile is that?

It is called "44-MKII VIA".

Awesome! I have to pick up that profile.

Worth it.

Sounds great Chad, as good as any "in the room" video you've posted. Would love to hear the same kind of thing, but recorded direct or mic'ed, then have the audio file sent to me so I could Tone-Match it with my Axe-FX II (kidding :D ).

Sounds great, really seems to respond to your playing, which is cool.

Very nice Chad!!
I'm actually thinking of getting a Axe-FX next.

Thanks Phil! I think you would like it. The Axe II seems really cool. Give them all a try and go with the one that fits well. Mark Day's clips are always GAS inducing.

Thanks Scott! I'll do that for you. Give me to the end of next week

It really does. It reacts just how my previous Mark amps did to my playing. I have really been enjoying this great crunch tone the past day or two from a Vox AC30 profile. Much more dynamic to my playing.
