Brad is shipping the kemper racks Monday. Been waiting for along time. SWEET
 
Wow, I thought these had been out a while. Will be cool to here some clips with real cabs. :thumbsup:
 
That has to be an improvement on the lunch box, damn Fugly.
 
Got bumped from my flight back in Charlotte. Can't get back till late tonight. These will ship tomorrow. :-)

In 6 weeks I need to check that out. You should have a bunch of good profiles by then, or it might be gone already.
 
So tempted. Just can't bring myself to sell my Splawn and Mark IV. Which I'd have to do.

I haven't heard powered Kemper clips - just cab sims. Wondering how they sound with a real cab mic'd. :thumbsup:

What are you going to use for power? Slave one of the VHT's?
 
I really don't think the powered Kemper is necessary after hearing this video. Rocktron Velocity, Matrix, VHT, Mesa 2-90, or RT-50.. I think all would do just fine. It's a matter of time, till you start seeing the Kemper in major touring rigs with rack version ramping up production (like the Fractal). I've heard the Fractal into the Matrix in a live situation. You would be hard pressed to not know there wasn't a tube somewhere in the chain. Thats what I told my friend, when he asked my opinion. The Kemper has the interesting aspect of modeling your own favorite amps and sharing with others. Which I think is cool and most important in the studio or live. I think theres also more convidence in the player knowing a true tube amp was modeled. Bottom line, it's how it feels to you. :)

Also, who likes buying a TV with a DVD player built into it. We know how that works out. Thats my thought :D
 
These clips sound good. I am going to try with all my different tube heads as power and with different solid state amps into cabs. If the tubes win then maybe a old boogie stereo tube power amp for the gig rig.
