Sounds GREAT!

what is that guitar? it looks a bit like a jackson dominion, but i've never seen one like that.

The guitar is a Custom Shop model from Twenty Twelve guitars in Australia.

They cost about $2450 with no hardware (I supplied Jon with the Tonepros, Dimarzios, Sperzels etc etc etc...)

You can look through the progress of the build HERE as well

VERY AWESOME GUITARS

So is what we're hearing just the Kemper straight into a DAW? Is it using cab sims within the kemper or is simulating a cabinet part of the profile?

The more I hear clips of this thing, the more I hate to admit that I like it better than my Axe FX II

If it weren't for all the great effects in the Axe, I would've sold it by now to get one of these. That plus the fact that the Kemper is ugly as fuck

Yep, these are just the Kemper straight to CUBASE 6 - no external EQ no Compression etc

These are as dry as can be!!

The Kemper Makes the Cabinet during the Profiling Stage

Agrred on the Ugly - Not really practically IMO as far goes positioning.

When you have Expensive gear the first thing you want to do is protect it ~ especially if you plan to gig with it..

I had mine in my rack case along with a Furman, Strobo-Rack tuner, Wireless and a DBX gate and having this added an extra 5RU spaces

~ I suppose its still less room than hauling a cab ~

Have you played with the AXE's EQ match ~ that sounds like it could hold ALOT of power as far as tone shaping ~!!
