Kemper users - Free Cameron Aldrich Profile

Any Kemper users interested in testing a profile I made of my Cameron Aldrich modded Marshall? For FRFR, the cabinet profile is a Marshall 1960BX with Greenback speakers. If you play through a 4x12 just disable the cabinet block on the Kemper (kick in the EQ stomp for more low end thump on the direct profile).

I did a very quick mix to test it out (as in I just raised the faders and bounced it down to stereo). Only 2 guitars with no added EQ or post processing. A little Slate FG-X on the mix buss for volume but otherwise straight into and out of the Kemper.

Here is a link to download the profile if you want to check it out. Appreciate any feedback.

I played around with it and I like it, I kept chugging around while playing with the settings and made me think of a Killswitch Engage song. Nothing special, just seeing how heavy I could get it. Some "leads" appear towards the end. It takes delays and reverb pretty nicely.

I boosted it with a Maxon OD808 just to push it a little bit and get it a little bit tighter, otherwise it sounded great.

Thanks, sounds good. I knew the Aldrich can do 80's type rock/metal perfectly but apparently it could be used for more modern metal as well. My favorite part was the lead stuff at the 1:20 mark. Did you use the internal Kemper effects for that or are you using external pedals?

Ironic, Webbster, that folks here dive straight in and provide feedback on how it sounds, whereas our fellow Kemperites at the Kemper forum aren't doing so as much.

Methinks it might have something to do with the facts that the latter's a troubleshooting forum and also that it takes quite some effort to keep up with all the free Profile offerings, meaning that we spend more time posting / thanking / downloading than we do playing.

Great to see folks are appreciating your apparently-fine work, man!

I have Mark's version and tried this one out. I think webb's is a little clearer with a more open top end. Mark's has a low mid that seems to be baked in ( i think the secret profiling method is some type of eq'ing) all of webb's camerons are really good and very accurate (having had various camerons/king's) the DI of the aldrich is really good!

And best of all, Webb gave one profile for free. The other one profile is $40

Webb: are you making profiles of the Butterslax? I would be interested in trying out a few. Thanks

I don't have a Butterslax but I do have a Friedman JJ & BE100 I hope to get around to profiling. Have you tried any of my Cameron CC profiles? I can PM you a few to try.

Some of the amps I have that I'll be profiling in the future include a Wizard MCII, Fortin Killer Kali++, Peters Chimera, EVH Stealth...

I would love to test out some CCV profiles. Please PM me. A Friedman JJ would be cool too.

I had a chance to do a quick test mix comparing my Aldrich profile to the $40 "official" profile. Tried to make all things equal - 2 guitar tracks left and right reaamped straight through the Kemper. Both use the same Ownhammer IR with no added EQ or post processing. Thoughts?

To me the second Cam/Ald mix sounds way more full and solid :) Good stuff...send me that CCV profile ;)

Thanks for making that clip of Mark and I's 40 dollar profile. It sounds great!

It's the one in the second link, thanks again to Webb.
