lol. are you a crusty, old, cock rocker? <banned from RT> cock rock is shit. </banned from RT> compared to the "real" metal that came out of the 80s. this particular example is a natural progression of the riffs laid down by the likes of anthrax, slayer, metallica, megadeth, exodus, coroner, testament, et. al in the early and mid-eighties, IMO.

i'm in my 40s and scoff at the accusations of the "rock and roll wasteland."
