Jason (Killertone) demos the Fortin Fredrik Thordendal 33...

Cool demo. I really like the knob twist. Let's you know exactly how it reacts.

Sounds killer! When he switches the pedal on and off , he confirms my opinion that Rectos are completely useless without a boost :) With a clean boost though , they sound ridiculously good

I like it. Made a huge positive difference on the amp.

Jason is a damn MONSTER! Love his tones. Pedal seems cool. Would like to see a side-by-side with this and the Grind. I know this guy boosts output but tonally how do they do things differently.

Would also like to see an A/B with Grind.

I ended up selling my Grind becuase it seemed to have a very narrow range on knob where it wasn't either too much or choking out notes.

So the 33 does exactly the same thing as my Maxon OD808.
Except my 808 has more knobs to play with.
:D

How does the remote switch thingy work? Would it work with a 3 channel Recto?

Killertone can make anything sound good. He's been putting out great stuff for years- hope I can get to his level some day, lol.

Would love to see a vid at some point of this pedal beside a Grind and Horizon Precision Drive, I've seen some A/B comparisons but nothing with all 3 yet!

Nope. 33 is not an Overdrive pedal and has no clipping circuit whatsoever. 808s are awesome in front of Rectos, but they do not get close to what this does.

Ummmm, I laid it out at the beginning of the video. :D

Yes it will work with a 3 channel Recto because they have 1/4" latching switches on the back. Just plug it in to whichever function you want it to switch and you're done. Couldn't be easier.

It's pretty interesting that nobody's done this until now. Also, not that it needs to be said again...great demo vid! I really like what this boost does to the Recto. Kinda makes me want one of each. \:D/

Great DEMO, really slammin

Could the 33 accept channel relay signals? i.e. Fractal fx8 sending a ch relay signal to turn the 33 on/off

Nope. You'd have to use a loop switcher.
