Dang that sounds awesome!!! And the timing is amazing!!!

Sounds great...as always! Which Egnater model is that?

It was actually only running at half-mast. One side of the tubes blew RIGHT before they went on.

Which, when you think about it, is actually a pretty cool failsafe backup feature built right in. If one pair of tubes blow, you have another pair that you can run on to get you through the gig - and sound really good, to boot.

Ty seemed happy! It was an amazing show.

Sweet! I heard that Ty had a falling out with Egnater when Jeff was at the helm. Not his fault but more of Ty moving some things around but this shows that to not be the case. Ty was running a large Egnater rack rig back then.

That's how I run mine. Except for the clean chanel... I run that one at 65 W for more headroom and run the dirty chanel at 18 W to make it sing more. An amazing amp is all I can say. Lucky you to have been there!

I've literally seen King's X live probably,...oh, 30 times. With the exception of the POD-era Ty's live tone always slays, and even during the POD-era his live tones weren't bad by any means. Very cool they got to play at NAMM. Can't believe Dug is 60 -- amazing.

I wonder if Ty used the amps fan? I disconnected mine. Great amps but the fan is loud, bit of a pain. Ty Tabor Rules. Great Tone as always :-D

The fan is loud if you're playing in your bedroom, with no crowd, four feet in front of the amp.

Ty on the other hand, plays big venues, with noisy crowds, 12 feet in front of his amps.

Enjoyed the clip, but the recording was not very good, hard to really judge the amp off that...

No falling out to my knowledge.

1. Guitar player sounded like a Peter frampton clone.
2. Threw my guitar out and want to be a drummer.
3. I hope a music executive from a major label was in attendance.
4. Pure awesomeness.

How can anyone honestly say that tone is good or bad? The sound quality was horrible

No falling out with us and Ty. He's still got his M4, and uses it for some things, as well as still using his Egnater cabs. He was using a Renegade loaner, and some loaner cabs for his shows at NAMM though. He is primarily using an Axe-FX for a lot of things as far as I know, but he didn't have a power amp for NAMM. He ended up loving the tone from the Renegade though. But to answer that question, there was no falling out, and we still talk to him from time to time.

I was there
it was at the mackie/ampeg booth at NAMM

The mix in the room was sorta flat considering they were trying to showcase the PA

Ty had nice tone but I was distracted by the mix

Jerry is killing his cymbals.. Why does he hate them so?
I cant hear much in that mix, hard to tell how it sounds unless nothing else is playing.
Its probably safe to say he sounded great, he always does... Everytime I've seen them
Well, I never heard his live POD tone, but I can live with that :D

Wonder how Doug gets that bowel-moving, snarling, high gain bass tone? You know, the one you CANT hear in the vid
