I came across these videos over at Harmony Central. I'm not exactly sure how old they are, but I thought they were really cool. Ty seems like a really cool, down to earth guy.

Yes. Very good interviews. I did meet him once, and he was a very cool dude.

There's another new one:

Its not epic, just him showing how to play a few easy KX tunes. Its hilarious when he's showing the intro to "Its Love" and he has an epiphany that its extremely similar to AC/DC's "You Shook Me..." On a side note, I don't think Ty uses profanity very often. He refers to himself "being a butt" about something in the interview.

Great videos and yes the band as a whole are probably the coolest people def no attitude in King's X

proably one of the most underated bands of all time. Seen and met them a ton, great guys, very humble. love em'

Jerry Gaskill's wife was my music theory teacher when I was in High School. They're all really great guys. They don't use profanity because they were born again Christians for a long time and the music was crossover Christian (unbeknownst to most of their fans...as it should be). Even though they have fallen out with organized religion of any kind since Doug "came out" and all the backlash they got from Christian groups, I think the foundational principles are still there. They used to come hang out at my school all the time and I got to jam with them a number of times. As big as they were back then, I guess you could compare that to jamming with Muse in your High School music theory class.

Thanks for all these links! It's hard to find anything King's X on Youtube. I've been waiting for that Guitar World thing to come up. It's pretty cool! Ty is by far one of the most interesting rhythm players I've heard. So is Alex Lifeson, and they approach things in very similar ways.
