Been jamming them a lot lately. Guess Doug is still jamming with Lynch. Anyone know if Ty is working on anything? Did Jerry fully recover from his heart attack?

Dug seems to be working the side projects and I think Ty has another solo CD coming out soon. The last I heard Jerry has been doing good.

I was spinning the fourth album and Ear Candy just yesterday. I just really like Ty's approach to playing.

They're one of those bands that are unique and super talented. Hope we get atleast another studio album out of them.

I agree, but I never dug their song writing much when it came down to it. Black Flag was the only tune of theirs that ever really caught my attention. Great singing, playing, etc., but not enough catchy tunes IMO.

Definitely still cookin' hard. Just saw them not too long ago and Ty is amazing ~ he's a master at drop-D hard rock.

And this is where we are all different because I would say their songwriting is brilliant. Most of their songs are not one or two listens "catchy" but after several listens, they are so catchy and they are not disposable catchy where you are tired of it after 10 listens. I have to say they are one of my all time favorite bands. And Dug is probably my all time favorite rock singer.

Yeah I guess, just not my thing really. I'm glad peeps like them well enough that they can keep performing though, because they are pretty polished musicians.

Absolutely! Well said!

Love King's X... Found this slamming version of Dogman a while back.

Killer band. They don't just write great songs, but understand groove, feel and great tones.
Ty's solo stuff is great to...really enjoy his Rock Garden CD. Who else could write a great song about a tree on his yard.

Wonder what those little red pedals r on Ty's board???
I seem to remember that Ty uttered when I asked him this very question during break that it was in-line with his Kama Sutra studies.

Did Ty introduce you to your G spot? :D

I don't love everything they've ever done, but when they're firing on all cylinders it's nothing but great. Dogman is, from start to end, an amazing rock album.
